As with any of our items they can be crafted without a routed edge if preferred.

The 3/4 inch thick oval plaques have a very attractive classic routed edge along the entire outside perimeter. Two mounting holes have also been provided in the backside of the plaques so they can be hung horizontally or vertically upon completion of the decorating process, if you choose the option of wall mounting. This design, in addition to any of our other plaques, also make a fantastic base for displaying countless hobby projects on. The simplicity of design blends in well with any decor, adding charm and beauty to any room.

MDF is ideal for latex or oil painting, mosaic or ceramic art, decoupage and is an excellent foundation for veneers and laminates of all kinds. It will accept a broad range of sealers, primers, and coatings to produce a hard durable surface and is an excellent choice for a wide range of projects.
