As with any of our items they can be crafted with a square edge if preferred.

All frames are quoted on a custom size basics, please E-mail us with all dimensions for a quote.
Please include the following information with your inquiry:

1. The inside dimensions of the frame.
2. The width of frame members. Maximum width of no more than 3-1/2 inches.
3. If you need a recessed area in the back of the frame we need to know those measurements along with the thickness of piece (i.e. You'd like place a ceramic tile into the back side of the frame.)
4. Your ship to zip code for shipping.

All members are crafted from 3/4 inch thick Medium Density Fiberboard. Frames can either have a very attractive routed edge along the entire outside perimeter or a square edge.

The corners are all cut at 45-degree angles and are glued in place using a four-corner frame clamp for superior strength. Two mounting holes will also be provide in the back so the frame and be hung horizontally or vertically, if the frame is square in size only one mounting hole will be provided.

MDF is ideal for latex or oil painting, mosaic or ceramic art, decoupage and is an excellent foundation for veneers and laminates of all kinds. It will accept a broad range of sealers, primers, and coatings to produce a hard durable surface and is an excellent choice for a wide range of projects.
